In an enriching outing, students from Sierra Vista High School Dual Language program embarked on a field trip to explore the Los Angeles Great Wall and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
Students from Baldwin Park Unified are coming together through the District’s first mentorship program in partnership Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles and The City of Baldwin Park launched on Tuesday, January 23.
Students from Baldwin Park & Sierra Vista high school received on-the-spot acceptances to The University of La Verne while attending college field trips.
For many students, particularly students of color and those from underrepresented communities, the path to law school or a successful legal career is not always clear. JTB works to illuminate that path by lighting the spark of recognition that it is possible to become a lawyer and a leader. One of JTB’s premier events is a Summer Legal Institute (SLI) that high school students attend in order to interact with, and learn from, corporate lawyers, public service lawyers, and judges about how to prepare for such a career:
